Case Study: Alveley Cricket Club
Alveley CC are a small club side in Shropshire. Currently they have 2 senior mens sides but with over 60 juniors and 20 ladies training every week, there is a call for the club to expand. As we all know, expansion has a cost. This is where Aeonia were able to help.
Club Branding:
Aeonia’s experts began a gradual overhaul of the clubs brand, firstly by redesigning the website and then overhauling the club directory. The new and improved image along with the hard work of the club committee yielded over £3000 in extra sponsorship in just one year. For a small club the return on investment was game changing.
To co-inside with the brand overhaul, a new kit was designed that enabled multiple sponsors logos to be placed on the kit and training wear at no extra cost, the sponsors were able to see value in their investment. The club were also able to place squad numbers and names on the shirt for every player, even the juniors. Through an online portal, annual subs were completely paid before the season had even started (a rarity at every club!)
Due to the high volume of players, a second ground is now needed at Alveley as a home for the ever growing junior section, ladies sides and a mens third team. Having already helped Alveley to acquire the necessary land, our team, led by 4Grants director Richard Twigg, are currently assisting with the appropriate fund finding to allow the club to move forward with construction of the square, outfield and new pavilion.
